I went cave diving, which is crazy because it’s literally a hole in the ground with water in it, they give you a tiny flashlight, and you basically have to jump in and hope for the best. I'm used to exploring the unknown at work, but physically jumping into the dark feet-first was a daunting prospect.
By staying open and trying to read as much as I can from different sources. I live my life like a student, soaking up information from all over.
I think designers are inherently optimistic because they are always trying to make things a little bit better for people. I try to reframe flaws as opportunities...it's empowering and requires you to believe that things can be improved. That belief gives you the motivation and energy to keep trying.
