Patrick connects people and brands. As leader of MU/DAI’s design practice, he partners with clients to conceive and create innovative products and services.
Patrick focuses on impact, shepherding teams of researchers and designers through a process of exploration, execution and evaluation. In his 20-year career he’s led highly-successful engagements for Fortune 500 clients in the insurance, financial services, healthcare, energy and retail industries.
Outside the office, Patrick is a frequent conference speaker on the topic of user experience, has team-taught graduate students in DePaul University’s HCI program, and has served as a Design Fellow on the last two UX for Good annual challenges. He attended Indiana University where he earned a degree in Political Science.
Patrick lives in Chicago with his wife Jamie and their dog Ziggy. He has an abiding love of books, basketball, Basecamp, bicycles and beer.
