I read a lot about design, organizational structures, interactive art, systems theory, and the like. A few years back, with friends from a Meetup, I started an Interactive Media Arts Collective to further explore anything and everything happening at the confluence of aesthetics, interaction, and technology.
I'm a bit of a Pessimist but I don't see pessimism as an inherently negative trait. If not for adverse situations & systems, constraints & blockers, humanity would have no need for creativity & innovation. Stagnation just might subsume us, and that is my biggest fear.
Creative design won’t happen unless you get executives and designers in the same room working toward the same goal. Sprints give people a chance to collaborate with others they might not normally work with, which is a powerful recipe for new ideas.Read More
